Welcome to the Nativity Laudato Si Blog!

What is Laudato Si?

Laudato Si is the title of the encyclical written by Pope Francis in May 2015. In his writing, the Pope calls for Catholics all over the world to work together to care for the Earth. This summer, a small group of parishioners participated in a deep study of this encyclical and created a year full of simple ways for all members of Nativity to work towards the common goal of making our world a better, more beautiful place for future generations. Stop by often to keep informed on the work we are doing as a faith community to care for our environment. We look forward to taking this journey with you!

plants

During the winter months, the air in your house doesn't circulate or filter as well as the warmer months when you can leave your windows open.

Try adding a few of these plants to energize, beautify, and remove toxins from your home:

  • Azaleas
  • English Ivy
  • Peace Lily
  • Bamboo Palm
  • Chinese Evergreen
  • Aloe Vera
  • Pelargonium
  • Spider Plan
  • Rubber Plant
  • Snake Plant
